Fitness and Personal Training is a small Victoria based company specializing
in health and fitness during the childbearing year. We follow
the ACOG and Canadian
Society Of Exercise Physiology guidelines set out for pre and postnatal
women to ensure a safe and effective
workout.
We believe that pregnancy
is not an illness, but a time to focus on optimal health. We emphasize
exercise safety through educating and empowering
women to listen and trust their bodies. We believe, and research
shows, that exercising through the childbearing year can make for a
healthier
pregnancy and easier transition into postpartum.
Erin Patrick is a BCRPA certified
Group Exercise Instructor, Strength Trainer, Personal Trainer, and Aquafitness Instructor.
As well she is a Pre and Postnatal Exercise Specialist certified
through CanFit
Pro and is BOSU certified through Twist Conditioning. She teaches classes and trains
clients in the Greater Victoria area. Erin knows first hand the benefits
of keeping active, teaching fitness classes and working out right up
until the arrival of each of her three children.
